Code of Conduct
We’re committed to a safe, supportive and inclusive improv environment. Participation is subject to our Code of Conduct, and we may refuse or end participation where behaviour affects the comfort or wellbeing of others.
Expected Behavior
Treat others with respect and consideration
Clear consent and awareness of boundaries
Accept Feedback from facilitator in good faith
Support a positive learning environment for the group
Be mindful of how words, actions, and physical behaviour may affect others
Follow instructions given by the facilitator
Unacceptable Behaviour
Making others feel unsafe, pressured, intimidated, or uncomfortable
Inappropriate physical contact or sexualised behaviour
Disruptive behaviour that interferes with the class or others’ participation
Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory conduct
Continuing behaviour after being asked to stop or adjust
Not adhering to cancelation policies

Facilitator Discretion
The facilitator may intervene at any time to:
Pause or redirect a scene
Provide feedback or boundaries
Ask a participant to step out of an activity
End a participant’s involvement in a class
Reporting Concerns
Participants are encouraged to raise concerns privately with the facilitator or business owner. Reports will be handled respectfully and confidentially where possible.
Refusal or Removal of Participation
Improv for Life reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any participant whose behaviour is deemed to negatively impact the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of others.
This decision may be made at the sole discretion of the facilitator or business owner and may be applied immediately or for future classes.
